The Home Merchant is started in 2000 by 2 good friends, Sonny Boey and Alvin Chua, which aims to provide high quality, stylish furniture and accessories at affordable price to homeowners, both locally and overseas.

Having working locally and overseas in furniture and furnishing industry for over 25 years, Sonny and Alvin put their personal efforts into the choice and design of each product to ensure good design and quality. In addition, they know exactly where to source and produce products that is a cost advantage.

Having the same passion for Asian arts, culture and nature, the materials used and sourced primarily from the emphasis natural and elegant materials as well as being environmental conversation very seriously.
